We believe in the Maker Empowerment Theory as stated by Casey Shea (2018, Elizabeth Forward High School's Fab Institute) : "The big idea behind the concept of maker empowerment is to describe a kind of disposition, a way of being in the world, that is characterized by seeing the world as malleable, and understanding oneself as a person of resourcefulness who can muster the wherewithal to change things through making." Maker:Grief
You can schedule a program for an individual or family where we explore creativity while we honor and exmine our grief. This is a great process for someone who does not like to sit and talk about their feelings but recognizes they need work on their greif journey.
Maker Empowerment Method
By combining the Maker Empowerment Theory with design thinking elements, we can alter the way we process failure. Ask for more information on how we believe this can help individuals facing addiction, mental health, or low self-esteem issues. We've all been there and we don't want anyone to be there alone.
